The Bar Council of India has recognised the full-time, integrated BA LLB programme, which lasts for five years. The first three semesters of BA LLB are heavily weighted towards the study of the arts, while the last five semesters cover issues pertaining to law, litigation, and advocacy. Since the LLB Course is a 3-year law degree that requires any bachelor's degree to be completed before applying, it differs from the BA LLB.
Several law courses, including contract law, criminal law, jurisprudence, business law, etc., as well as a few subjects linked to the arts field, such political science, sociology, history, etc., are covered in the five-year integrated BA LLB programme. The entire BA LLB curriculum combines theoretical classroom instruction with industry-based practical training sessions, such as court visits, moot court sessions, clinical internships, etc., to help students develop their legal expertise and knowledge through hands-on learning while also honing their skills. Typically, the BA LLB five-year integrated study is broken up into 10 semesters over that time.
