Dhirendra Kumar, a third year BA (Yoga Science) student of the University's Department of Yoga Science, has established a world record for remaining in 'Full Matsyendrasana' for the maximum time in a yoga competition organized by Jisa World Record Consultancy Institute. Whose World Record Consultancy Organization is related to the World Wide Book of Records Organization. In this competition held on 16 September 2022, Dhirendra Kumar has made this record by staying in complete Matsyendrasana for 5 minutes and 6 seconds.
Department of Yoga Science of the University M.A. (Yoga Science) 2nd year student "Pankaj Kumar Yadav" has established the world record for the maximum time in headstand in the yoga competition organized by Gisa World Record Consultancy Institute. Participants from America, Europe and Africa as well as different countries of the world participated in this competition held on 28 November 2021, in which Pankaj Yadav, a student of Shri Rawatpura Sarkar University of Chhattisgarh state of India, stayed in headstand for 30 minutes and 40 seconds. Proud achievement by securing first position.
