In PG diploma in fashion designing, the students learn about colours, fabrics, creation and construction of dresses. They also learn about pattern making and surface ornamentation. Fashion accessories are also taught. The technical expertise of dress making is taught.
It has the duration of 1 year divided into 2 semesters. The course covers a number of subjects during its study period PG Diploma in Fashion Design mainly focuses on Fashion Designer ,The students learn to draw basic figures of models, colour scheme and technical drawing, sewing, knowing the intricate details of the craft ,details of construction of a dress ,an individual has to work on styling different types of clothes such as jeans , jacket, women’s wear , children’s wear , men’s wear , evening wear, knit wear , sportswear ,and the likes.
