Voter awareness program in SRU

Voter awareness program in SRU, Registrar administered oath to students and staff members…

Voter awareness program was organized at Shri Rawatpura Sarkar University on Monday. In this regard, while addressing the seminar organized on the topic “Role of Youth in Voting”, University Vice Chancellor Professor SK Singh said that the role of youth in elections is not limited to voting. The youth should not only use their valuable vote but also make other people of the society aware to vote.

Keynote speaker, social worker Jagdish Patel said

that voting for the second phase of the 18th Lok Sabha elections has been completed. The voting percentage in the elections held so far has been low which is worrying. Youth should contribute in increasing the voting percentage in the future phases. Shri Patel said that the number of youth in the age group of 15 to 29 years in our country is 37 crore, which is the highest in the world. Politics is also a subject for youth. Youth should decide their role in politics and society. Along with themselves, they should also inspire their family and society to vote.
