S.R.U and Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission jointly organized the grand opening ceremony of the three-day International Yoga Conference...

More than 250 students and researchers from India and abroad participated in the three-day International Yoga Conference at Shri Rawatpura Sarkar University through offline and online hybrid medium. Dr. M Raghavendra Rao, Director, CCRYN, Ministry of AYUSH, New Delhi, participated as the chief guest of this conference sponsored by Yoga Science Inter

University Center (IUCYS), Bengaluru. The program was inaugurated by the guests on the stage by lighting the lamp. Thereafter, important facts about the conference were shared in detail by the coordinator through the welcome address.

In the program, University Registrar Dr. Saurabh Kumar Sharma shared his views and said, India is the land of Lord Buddha, not of war, the sages of India have adopted the spirit of Vasudev Kutumbakam. While discussing about yoga, he said that yoga connects the mind and soul with the body and one attains salvation through yoga.

In his address, Dr. ML Pandey said that this event is being organized for global peace and prosperity. Through yoga, the general public can be made healthy, drug-free and aware, he further said that Shri Rawatpura Sarkar University will continue to get the support of Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission.

The chief guest of the program, Dr. Raghavendra M Rao said that global peace is very important. It is very important to keep yourself calm to maintain stability of mind. He further said that if our mind is not calm, then it is possible to keep it concentrated through yoga and meditation.

Professor Bhagwat Singh, Professor Mrityunjay Rathore and Professor Rajiv Chaudhary were present in the technical session of the conference through offline medium. In which Dr. Mrityunjay Rathore presented the subject of yoga and the program in detail to the students and researchers participating in the conference through a presentation. Prof. Kutet Dondar, Prashanti Devi Maheshwari from Indonesia expressed their views through online medium.

University Vice Chancellor Prof. SK Singh, Dean Academic Dr. R.R.L Birli, Dean Faculty of Arts Dr. Manish Pandey, Dr. K.R. Chakradhari from Yoga Department, Dr. Captain Singh along with all the teachers of Yoga Department were present. Vice Chancellor of the University Mr. Harsh Gautam congratulated and wished the students and researchers participating from India and abroad in the International Yoga Conference.
