Two Deputy Superintendents of the jail made the students aware of the important aspects of jail administration and its history and also physically took the students on a tour of the jail barracks, kitchen and modern meeting room. Jail officials said that the jail works like a self-reliant village and the items used by the prisoners in the jail for daily use are manufactured by the prisoners such as wood material, cloth, vegetables, milk from the cowshed etc. Also, the officials said that the jail inmates are taught in the jail for school education. And for higher education, their examinations are conducted in the jail premises through IGNOU.
