Shri Rawatpura Sarkar University organized a two-day workshop focused on implementation of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The workshop was attended by faculty members from various academic departments who gathered to gain insight into the practical steps involved in integrating NEP 2020 into the educational framework of the University.
The workshop began with the address by the University Registrar Dr. Saurabh Kumar Sharma, in which he e
laborated on the salient aspects of NEP 2020 and emphasized its transformative potential for India’s higher education system. The Registrar highlighted the policy’s aim to promote a more holistic, flexible and multidisciplinary approach to learning. He emphasized the importance of adopting these changes to enhance the overall educational experience and improve student outcomes.
Vice Chancellor of Shri Rawatpura Sarkar University Prof. S.K. Singh addressed the faculty present, and focused on the strategic implementation of NEP 2020 within the University. He spoke about the University’s commitment to align its curriculum and teaching practices with the new policy to meet national standards. The Hon’ble Vice Chancellor expressed confidence in the faculty’s ability to drive these changes, ensuring a smooth transition towards an inclusive and contemporary education system.
The workshop included detailed sessions, allowing faculty members to understand the step-by-step process of NEP implementation, from curriculum restructuring to introducing multidisciplinary courses. Various aspects such as vocational training, technology integration and promotion of research and innovation were discussed in depth.
