ited as the keynote speaker of the lecture.
In her lecture Dr. Rashmi share important aspects of the topics like food pyramid, balanced diet, and Mera Plate - Mera Aahaar. She told that in today's hectic lifestyle, all food groups should be used so that we can stay healthy. Apart from this, she also highlighted the importance of therapeutic diet for diseases like diabetes, hypertension, obesity, PCOD.
In her lecture Dr. Rashmi explained about the importance of Iron, fiber, calcium and all nutrients which play a very important role to maintain the good health in life time on the basis of the diet. She said for every person consumption of 100 Grams Fruit 250 Grams Cereals and 400 Grams Vegetables are important in a single day. Also define the types a cereals, pulses and millets.
The program was organized under the guidance of Professor Anubhuti Koshle, Dean of Faculty of Science. Assistant Professors Pratibha Chokhi, Neha Verma, and Pratima Sahu played an important role as coordinators. This program was successful in promoting the importance of healthy lifestyle.
