Raipur, Chhattisgarh | September 10, 2024 – In a significant step toward fostering academic and research excellence, Shri Rawatpura Sarkar University, Raipur, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Govt. Digvijay Autonomous PG College, Rajnandgaon. The MoU, signed on September 10, 2024, aims to promote collaboration in various academic programs, research projects, and student activities between the two prestigious institutions.<

The agreement was formalized in the presence of key officials, including the Vice-Chancellor of Shri Rawatpura Sarkar University, Prof. S.K. Singh, Registrar, Dr. Saurabh Sharma and the Representative of Govt. Digvijay Autonomous PG College Dr. Majid Ali, Assistant Professor, Zoology. Both leaders emphasized the importance of creating synergies to enhance educational standards, develop innovative research initiatives, and provide students with a broader learning environment. On this occasion Dean Academic Prof. RRL Birali, Incharge Dean Prof. Ashis Kumar Sarkar and HoD Life Science Dr. Surendra Kumar Gautam also present as witnesses.

Under this MoU, the two institutions will engage in collaborative research projects, joint seminars, workshops, and conferences that will benefit both faculty and students. The partnership is designed to encourage knowledge sharing, skill development, and innovation through joint academic programs in various disciplines, including sciences, humanities, and social sciences.

In addition to research collaboration, the MoU also focuses on fostering student engagement through joint cultural programs, sports events, and other extracurricular activities. This initiative aims to create a holistic environment for students, helping them build both academic competence and interpersonal skills.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. S.K. Singh expressed optimism about the partnership, stating, "This MoU is a step toward building a robust academic network that will provide students with unique opportunities to enhance their learning experiences. We look forward to seeing both institutions benefit from this collaboration."

Representative Dr. Majid Ali echoed the sentiment, saying, "The partnership will pave the way for both institutions to share resources, knowledge, and expertise. It will enrich the academic and research output of both colleges and empower students to explore new horizons."

This collaboration marks a milestone in strengthening academic bonds between institutions in Chhattisgarh, aiming to uplift the region’s educational framework and produce impactful research that benefits society.

The MoU is expected to be a transformative initiative, with both institutions planning to begin implementation by the end of this year, with joint projects, seminars, and student activities already in the pipeline.
