SRU Celebrated 75th Independence Day as Azadi ka Amritmahotsav
Know the value of freedom, and this is not something obtained at once, said Dr. Trivedi
Independence Day is fervently celebrated all over India with respect to the Nation and also the freedom fighter. The country memorializes those who have sacrificed their all so that we breathe in free air. Due to completed our 75 year of independence of the Nation, celebrating “Azadi ka Amritmahotsav” specially.
On this occasion, the special guests of the program were Dr. Sushil Trivedi (Retired IAS Officer), Former CMD from Hindustan Ltd., Padma Shri Dr. Radheshyam Barle, Director of MGM Eye Institute Deepshikha Agarwal, unfurled the national flag along with Prof. SK Singh, the Vice Chancellor of the University and sung the national anthem.
By addressing the program, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof S.K Singh, said that those who have sacrificed for freedom had a vision that there should be economic progress as well as spiritual progress, there should be a wonderful combination of spirituality with science and all educational institutions should take a pledge on such an occasion so that their Make India as World Leader on the basis of dream to empower the world economically, culturally and politically. Along with it he congratulated to all people present in the program and said that accelerate the name and fame of the University as India grow day by day in all aspects.
All the guests present in the program extended their best wishes to everyone on the occasion of Independence Day.
At the same time, everyone remembered all the martyrs involved in the country’s independence, and they shared their experiences on the country’s achievements, cultures and challenges of the country.
Chhattisgarhi folk song singer Amrita Barle was also expressed the beauty of their culture by singing songs in the program. The students of the university gave a spectacular dance performance through patriotic songs. At the end of the function vote of thanks was given to all the guests by giving memento and shawl.
The Vice Chairman of the Shri Rawatpura Sarkar Lok Kalyan Trust Dr. J.K Upadhyay, the Pro-Chancellor of the University Harsh Gautam, the Vice-Chancellor Prof S.K Singh, the Registrar in-charge Manoj Kumar Singh along with all the academic and non academic staff wished all the students a very Happy Independence Day.
