Welcome to SRU Library! Having a grand library in its fold, SRU is accomplishing its task of reaching to wider academic community.
SRU have advanced its online library with the subscription of as good as 63 high quality electronic databases being made available through campus network to teachers, students and research scholars. In addition to this 21 more databases are also accessible through UGC-INFONET Digital Library Consortium. SRU also promotes Open Access e-resources. Our success lies on its use by the academic community of SRU.
We want a library where we have enough space and the right facilities to do the range of things that being a student requires. SRU has all of this!
The SRU Library functions as the General Library and Departmental Libraries.
The Central library plays a pivotal role in the teaching -learning process of the University. The 2280 square feet well ventilated, intelligently lighted up and comfortably furnished, partially automated library with a seating capacity of about 100 Students.
The Library presently has around 19,814 books and subscribed 48 regular Journals. Including 12 magazines. ¢ The e-books and e-journals are also available in the library through www.delnet.in Library has DELNET facility for accessing 9700+ e-books and 6000+full text e-journals and the number is increasing regularly. We are also providing E-PG Pathshal & NDL for Online Books and Journals Access.
The library remains open on all the working days except Sundays and University notified holidays. The Library is open from 9.30am to 4.30pm on Monday to Saturday. The members have open access to the library collection. ¢ The library provides current-awareness service to the readers through new books, newspaper clippings, announcement Notice etc.
